While making jewelry is really my passion, I have found I love gift wrapping almost as much. I've dabbled with it in the past but really went all out this weekend for a bridal shower I was attending. The technique is simple enough anyone can do it.
For the wrapping paper I simply layered four sheets of tissue paper. The ribbon wrapping around the gift is just two types of lace, layered. The bow is made of various strips of lace, cut into different lengths and tied in the middle. I simply arranged it to look how I wanted later.
The birds and the nest were bought separately at a craft store in the flower section. I hot glued the nest to a piece of felt. I glued anther strip to the bottom so I could easily slide twine through to secure it to the gift. And ta DA! That's how easily it was. Hope you enjoy!
